Taco Soup: Updated with Nutritional Info


Updated: I figured out the nutritional information for this taco soup recipe this week. It's pretty darn healthy! Check out the nutritional information below and let me know what you think!


Taco Soup


This  recipe is so easy, you might already have the ingredients in your cupboard. If not, the whole recipe list for this soup for at least two dinners' worth for two people should only cost you about 5-7 bucks. Now that's a good deal:)

You will need...

1 pound ground beef
1 cup chopped onion

1 package chicken taco seasoning

Brown and drain.


Add, including liquid in the can (very important as there won't be any other liquids you will be adding!!):
1 16-oz can diced tomatoes with cilantro and peppers
1 16-oz can black beans
1 16-oz can pinto beans
1 16-oz can corn
1 8-oz can tomato sauce


Bring all to a boil, then simmer covered for at least 15 minutes.


Serve topped with mozzarella cheese (AMAZING) and tortilla chips.
